This braid hair piece is about 50 cm/ 22 inches long and ca. 7-8 cm/ 2.8-3.2 inches wide, you can vary the width slightly by braiding it more tighly or loosely. In the pictures with the model we show you a more tightly braided style, to help you imagine the smallest version of this undone look hair piece.
This ponytail braid is perfect for regular and thick hair if you want a most natural look. Technically you can attach this braid to fine and thin hair very well, too, but for a most natural look I recommend the smaller braids in sizes S and M for fine and thin hair.

Multi-Styling Hair Piece
Picture 7 and 8: Attach the braid and pin it up into a gorgeous messy braided hair bun! This is just like making a hair bun of your own, long hair!
We pinned up the tightly braided braid which makes the bun vrey small and compact. Just braid the braid more losely if you wish a slightly larger and more fluffy chignon hairstyle!
Picture 9: Wear the curls down, just unbraid the braid to get these hair falls with natural curls, it is actually the same hair piece as the curly hair falls in size M. If you want to wear your messy braid as curly hair extensions now and then, I recommend storing them unbraided in a paper box, for the curls stay in best shape.
Picture 10: You can even unbraid the braid and pin up the 3 strands of hair one after another for a very lush, messy and layered hair bun. This kind of unbraided bun is a very popular wedding hairstyle for the bride and even her bridesmaids - this larger hair piece for the bride and a more subtle bun of a size M or size S messy braid for the bridesmaids.
Lightweight Hair Piece with Fancy Volume
The messy style looks very realistic and adds nice volume to the hairpiece, although the braid is not heavy. It weighs about 120 grams/ 4.2 oz with basic attachment and about 140 grams/ 4.9 oz including the professional attachment.

Which Hair Does This Braid Match
This ponytail braid is perfect for regular and thick hair if you want a most natural look. Technically you can attach this braid to fine and thin hair very well, too, but for a most natural look I recommend the smaller braids in sizes S and M for fine and thin hair.
The pigtail braids/ braid pair I recommend for experiences hair piece users with regular hair only. Thick hair can be very stubborn, so if you do have thick hair it should be minimum shoulder long for attaching the braid pair. Women with fine or thin hair should rather get the pigrails in our smaller volume sizes S or M.
This messy braid is a great match for all hair textures: straight, wavy and curly hair. The hair in the braid is not straight, otherwise the braid would be much thinner. Moreover messy stylings are not easy to make with straight hair. We simply work with a basic hairdresser's trick and add some texture to the hair and in this case it's curls. You cannot really see them in the braided braid, hence the braid ponytail is a match to all hair textures, even to straight and wavy hair.
Only when making a layered bun the difference in texture becomes slightly visible. But this is typical for this kind of hairstyle. If you have a hair stylist make a layered bun of your own long or wavy hair, he or she will first add curls with a curling iron to add more volume to your hair. So we use the same trick just with a ready to wear and practical hair piece!
Curls, Waves, Straight Hair - Let's Play With Texture!
Keep in mind that you pull your own hair back into a ponytail to attach the hair extension. this means one can hardly tell how thick or thin your own hair is, if you have lots of hair or few hair and even your hair texture is hard to recognize. This means you can indeed play with hair pieces and add curls to straight hair for a day - keep in mind you spare your hair the stressful perm!
You shouldn't use the messy braid for
braiding your own hair into the braid if you want to keep the undone look. Technically this will work fine, but you must braid the braid even more tightly than we did in the pictures - to prevent your own hair from sticking out and pulling out. This means you will lose the typical messy look. For braiding your hair into a hair piece braid I recommend braid hair extensions of wavy hair and especially our braid wonder hair piece in paranda style.

We recommend the professional attachment with our messy braid hair extensions in case you want to wear this braid as ponytail hair piece, too and not pinned up into a bun only, see explanation "You shouldn't use this messy braid for" further above. The braid shown without model has the professional attachment.
Professional Fishtail Attachment = strong hair tie and two additional strands of hair which complement your own hair so you have more to wrap around the attachment.
This means it's much easier to
1st secure the hair extension and
2nd to cover the junction of your own hair and the synthetic hair!
The direct fusion of your own hair and the additional hair of the fishtail attachment offers maximum hold and is the most natural looking way to attach a hair piece!
This fishtail attachment upgrade provides extra strong hold (i.e. needed for acting and dancing) and most customers find it more comfortable to wear and easier to handle than the basic attachment. I named it fishtail attachment, because the two extra strands reminded me of the shape of a fishtail when I created this attachment method.
The fishtail attachment is highly recommended when you have thin/ fine hair or hair shorter than shoulder long. As it is never too much, you can even add it, if your hair is shoulder long or longer, of course. It is also nice to have, if you like the small buns which occur when the fishtail attachment is used.

Basic Attachment = strong hair tie
You can choose the basic attachment, if your hair is longer than shoulder long and if you don't have fine/ thin hair. Still the professional fishtail attachment is never too much, you can add it for any hair length! The hair fall is pulled over your own ponytail. Your own hair is used to counter-secure the hair fall by being wrapped around the attachment and being secured with hair pins (see first row with braid). You can also braid your hair before wrapping it around (see second row with open hair falls). This makes an even nicer finish and it is easier to secure and less stressful for your own hair.
Hair Color
One's own hair usually consists of 2-3 colors, but for technical reasons with this extra long hair, we can only offer a mix of maximum 2 colors. So we include up 1-2 colors in the price. Colors can only be roughly blended, which results in a highlight mix when you choose two colors. If you don't want that, choose 1 color only.
This means we might not be able to match your hair color for this extra long hair piece 100 %, but we can get very close. Feel free to check before your order how close we can get with our match. If you are not happy with that, you can still choose a shorter fall - we can always offer a 100 % match for 55 cm/ 22 inches hair falls!

The price includes a custom mix of up to 2 basic colors.
1st menu HAIR COLOR, choose your colors or enter "advice needed".
Press Ctrl and click 1 or two colors you wish to choose for your hair piece. You cannot choose more than 2 colors for this hair piece length.
Option: If you want to make your purchase, but still need our support in choosing the best color match, choose "Advice needed!" instead. In this case delivery time cannot be met, because we can only start making your order when all information is complete. If extra costs because of a special colors occur, we will send you a manual invoice and delivery time will only start after payment for this second invoice has been effected.
